Journey for My Wings

So I've been up since about 8am working on Return of the Curls....a Curly Hair Expo and Fashion Show I will have this summer in Richmond, Va...sooo many thoughts are crossing my mind, so many things need to be done, people contacted etc...

At times I feel incredibly overwhelmed as though I've bit off more than I could chew, that I am going to run into a brick wall or ultimately FAIL; but then God steps in and talks to me. He reminds me that everything I need for the future has already been deposited in my past, that everything I place my hands on will be successful, that there is nowhere I will go that I can't have...

When I started my LLC the only scripture that came to me was Joshua 1:3. A few weeks ago I was having what appeared to be a rough week and instead of God allowing me to wallow in anxiety God had someone send me the scripture I founded my company on...but the Message Translation:

After the death of Moses the servant of God, God spoke to Joshua, Moses' assistant:
"Moses my servant is dead. Get going. Cross this Jordan River, you and all the people. Cross to the country I'm giving to the People of Israel. I'm giving you every square inch of the land you set your foot on—just as I promised Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon east to the Great River, the Euphrates River—all the Hittite country—and then west to the Great Sea. It's all yours. All your life, no one will be able to hold out against you. In the same way I was with Moses, I'll be with you. I won't give up on you; I won't leave you. Strength! Courage! You are going to lead this people to inherit the land that I promised to give their ancestors. Give it everything you have, heart and soul. Make sure you carry out The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don't get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you're going. And don't for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you'll get where you're going; then you'll succeed. Haven't I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don't be timid; don't get discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take."

Rereading this scripture brings tears to my eyes as it reminds me that no matter where I am or what I do or embark upon...God is with me...every step of the way.

If you guys hadn't guessed it by now, I am a woman of Faith...I hear God ALOT...I see him in numerous ways and feels him...I'm constantly being told to do certain things that require me to get out of my comfort zone and go from Faith to Faith....at times the road can feel REALLY lonely...but its such a blessing to know that God is with me, is desiring todo great things with an through me as long as I continue to walk by faith.....

Where is this post going? No clue....But I've gotta say that I am very excited about where my life is headed and I pray that you guys continue praying for me, supporting me and cheering me on along the way....and for those of you not in the VA area....rest assured I'll be coming to a city near you soon....
