Miss Jessie's has PASSED!!
Hey Ladies!! So a month or so ago, I tired Miss Jessie's Curl Meringue, I liked it ok..but knew I needed to try it again. Over the weekend I learned about Castor Oil and how its good for your hair, and my best friend talked about it via text. (I had NO IDEA what she was talking about, even though I had a bottle)
So this weekend I decided to try Castor Oil and with Curl Meringue!!
And if I say so myself, I was and am quite pleased.
I started by washing my hair like normal, conditioning with Trader Joes Nourishing Spa, washed that out and began the actual process. I then saturated my hair with Castor Oil (purchased from Whole Foods)
I would say I used about 3 TBSP of oil in my hair..I have ALOT!!!
I then applied one of my favorite new Leave - In Conditioners by Tree Naturals.
And then put my hair in 4 sections.
I applied Miss Jessies Curl Meringue in Two Strand Twists
Paying close attention to the ends, because I have a tough time with
dryness on my ends and then let it sit for about 18 hours.
When I began to untwist my hair I noticed that the curls were very defined as though I had used Eco-Styler, but it wasn't as hard as it is with Eco-Styler alone. I didn't put any oil on my hands as I untwisted because I was in a hurry, but typically I would have untwists my hair using coconut oil, to minimize frizz.
Here were my results!! FABULOUS. I am impressed with the Meringue, because I've heard very bad things about their products, but I will say that I really like this product. No, its not 100% natural, so if you are looking for a 100% natural product this is not for you...but I like it ALOT!
You can achieve these same results using Darcy Botanical Curling Gel, if your budget isn't tight and you really want the Miss Jessie's experience I highly recommend it...plus I think the ladies are fabulous and amazing Entrepreneurs.
