3rd Attempt at Flat Twists

This morning as I was "trying" to convince myself to get out of bed, I realized that I had no idea what to do with my hair for the morning...so I hurried up so my creative juices could flow...and because my cats wouldn't STOP talking until I got up. (They know when its time to eat)
I allowed my hair to pick up steam from my shower and I then began to think, maybe I could do flat twists again and Bantu Knot the ends. Now, if you've been following my journey, you are aware that my styling skills are NOT those of a Celebrity Stylist, or a local stylist...more so of a 12 year old, so I decided to rely on the Holy Spirit to help a sistah out. The parts in my hair are NOT the straightest, but I think the twists turned out really well. I twisted the hair to my head and once I reached the ends of my hair I kept twisting until the hair was tight and began to almost bantu knot its self. I didn't use any pins I just tucked in the ends and Voila.
I put Eco-Styler on the hair that was near my forehead to help with any frizz from my edges.
I also put my hair in a bun in the back, but as I was driving to work, I realized that I could two strand twist the back for a pretty cute style, so Ill twist it up tonight!!!
I love this natural journey that I am on. I knew NOTHING about styling hair, mine or anyone elses until I decided to do the BC! It's a journey for us all, but if you enjoy and embrace it, it really can be great.
I'm excited that after two years of trying, I FINALLY got it.
.....Love you all
